Windows Phone Internals Firmware version?

Hello,

This is an ancient device and WP internals is no longer really allowing FW to be downloaded. What version of the original windows lumia firmware actually allows for the bootloader to be unlocked and where can I find it?

https://lumiafirmware.com/ seems to still work for downloading firmware. Generally we recommend starting from the latest available version for spec-A devices.

thanks for the reply but for the lumia 620 I don't see an OS version listed and I only see a big string of numbers listed for the verison so I'm not sure how you know which is the latest version particularly for the 620. I did see OS versions listed for other phones though

Which model (RM-xxx), which variant (059xyyy)? There should be only one version listed for each variant, and you should get the one for your variant unless unlocking fails with that one

thanks for the reply but I tried two or three of them from the list and none of them worked. they all said to use a donor .ffu plus I don't see an OS version number just a firmware number and i don't know what the relationship is

Spec-A ALWAYS needs a donor FFU

For donor FFU use this one from Telegram: https://t.me/LumiaWOA_Announcements/426 It's not for Lumia 620, but that doesn't matter with donor FFUs
