[BUG] Cloudflare Verification Error #80

Closed ivan3-5 closed 1 year ago

ivan3-5 commented 1 year ago

Can't install/download modules using the app due to Cloudflare verification error.

Trying to install or download modules won't work since Cloudflare fails to recognize it as human.

This error comes from cloudflare. Although we sometimes see lower solve rates because of the webview, we found it proivdes a better user experience than captchas, and more often than not, the failures are caused by using an IP (such as from a VPN) with a poor reputation.

We're going to close this since it's a vendor issue but we are always looking for ways we can improve this.

I agree with you that Cloudflare as captcha is better than anything. Btw, I don't use any VPN at all. But even if I use one, I'll always choose the Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 app because I trust them but still, it didn't work when I tried to use it. I also tried changing my webview to Google's along with the Cloudflare VPN, it still did not work so it might be what you mentioned, a vendor issue or it might be something else.

But even so, thank you for your hard work devs.
