This is important in order to stop getting incompatibility issues
in custom ROMs (mostly Open Devices) where changing the
slots boots the device with old firmwares or renders it unbootable
due to bootloader bugs.
In the Tama case, the bootloader upgrade is strictly required in
order to get the slot B bootable with custom images.
