When you invite your bot to your server, you need to give it permissions to create commands. Refer to #3
If you regenerate the link via Discord's Developer Portal in the OAuth2 section, make sure to have both the bot
and the applications.commands
scopes selected.

For me, generating docs is all that it says in the logs, so it's fine if that is the only output. Check to see if you have the slash commands in the server after reinviting the bot into your server with the new link.
ah i got it to work after redoing everything just now
I already have slash commands but when using it, the bot said that "Could not join your voice channel!". And in the console, It's still stuck at Generating Docs...
Yeah im still stuck at generating docs but it working just fine

What did you have to do to make it work? I don't understand how to make the bot join the voice channel
@samusaran you need to join the VC first then play music
This is what got it to work, enable those
Now it's working. Thank you so much
you are welcome
@voltrare thanks, i'll try.
One issue I had is that since it's the first bot I host on Discord, the documentation of this one skips a bunch of steps needed to make it work.
Ok I managed to let it work with a more restrictive set of permissions:
I don't know if this is the minimum required set of permissions, but in this way you don't have to set the bot as administrator.
You need to tick on Connect
too. Why don't you choose Administrator though?
Because I don't see why a bot that just plays music should be set as an administrator. It's common sense.
Anyway, it works even without Connect, but I'll add that too if it helps.

Oh okay.
Stuck in "Generating docs..." The bot is online on the server, however, commands are not working.
