When weasyprint stopped targeting image formats directly, the image generation path we started using got longer and slower.
Silicon is fast and direct, and the styled fake window is generally well received.
We'll continue to use highlight for the html. I'm undecided about whether to preserve the current unified html/png theme choice.
I think the image will just come as a media group of two images: one dark and one light rendering, using a fixed theme.
The best choices that come included with silicon are probably Coldark-Dark and Coldark-Light, but I should be able to include any .tmTheme.
