Can't figure out how to filter content #99

I want to have my blog as my main content (which works fine) and then a few other sections. For the life of me I can't figure out how to do it, and it seems like it should be pretty straightforward. Can you point me to any docs on doing this?

FWIW, I got this to work, but it feels like I'm doing it wrong. I added an _index.md file in the content section with a menu: "main" section and a title, and then added a layout specifically for it.
