bitbake error #46

After typing command MACHINE=beagleboard bitbake virtual/kernel I am getting following error please reply me the solution soon TypeError: getVar() takes exactly 3 arguments (2 given)

Which branch are you using? I can't reproduce it with v2013.12, v2014.06, v2014.12 or next.
