Bug: Adjust the on hover background color for search results in light mode

Describe the bug

This is visible only in light mode, the dark mode styles are fine, but for some reason in light mode they did not pick up

• this issue appeared after moving on to the latest material designs adding material-experimental and the other theming changes
• there have been several issues after the update but the one discussed here is this:
