Hello, I notice that after I enter sleeping mode, all it is ok except the hotkeys (brightness etc), one exception, hotkey F1(Mute) works well after sleep mode... I have to reboot to have this hotkeys working again.

is something knew?, alone issue for me?...

Hey, thanks for letting me know. I am currently off my Hackintosh because of a lot of work load from my office. Can you try checking Reddit for some solutions? In the meanwhile, I'll find some suitable time and check if my Hackintosh is giving the same problems :)

I have been looking but no so much info about problems like this, i will continue looking for it but if you can see if you have same issue it will help to know if it can be some problem making my own EFI or not.

Thanks, Regards.

Hey, I checked. After waking up, I don't seem to have any problems with any Fn keys. However, before the sleep patch, I remember vaguely that there was some problem with the Fn Keys.

I would recommend you to go through the Sleep troubleshooting in my readme.

FYI, my Brightness Keys are kind of working in the reverse fashion HAHA (when Fn lock is enabled, I need to press Fn+F5/F6 to change the brightness. However, on my Hackintosh, F5 and F6 work the other way round and the other buttons work as desired). I just thought it's not a pressing issue and just left it as it is XD.

Hi, Thanks for your testing, i will look next days if i can resolve this problem, a few more questions, do you have light keyboard? or without light?, bios version?

In my case is without light, maybe i need other kext or some modification on it, because i did yesterday a new hackintosh install trying with your kexts and same issue with this "FN" problem after sleep.

Anyway i will post it here my news about this problem.

Thanks and regards!

My keyboard is equipped with backlight. I will have to check.

Yes, it seems that might be the problem. Try searching for similar kexts for Lenovo laptops without a backlit keyboard.

I am having the exact same issue - it seems that the problem is caused by EC not responding after S3 sleep, specifically hotkeys and _LID. You could refer to this thread for more details. After looking in the DSDT, I believe this might be related to the value H8DR. I will try to come up with a solution soon.
