when i am on the home page of anilist (the website) and try to "open in app" with the browser, the button doesn't appear (on the browser). it should be present and bring me to the main screen of the app (the first thing you see when you open the app)
I consider it something totally unnecessary, I mean, you only have to enter the app for that....
That I have not implemented in app. Like what @MrJako2001 said it feels unnecessary.
i know it feels unnecessary but personally i use it a lot on the app of reddit (the button from.the home page is avaiable). I also would like it for this app since i do it quite a bit. Maybe there are users like me out there, but it is up to you.
I know it is strange but image this scenario (it is the route i am used). i open the app Anilib, i see a notification of reply on the forum, i open it and the browser will open with the link of the forum related, i finish to read the reply on the forum and then click on the anilib icon home to go to the home page of the website e update the progress of some manga or anime just clicking on the "+" (it is a little bit faster) then i come back to the app to search for recent finished content. that is all, maybe i am the only one
It should not take much time to implement home if issue wont arise, I will add it later.

i have a question off topic this bug report: should i rewrite the bug reports and feature suggestions i wrote on the discord server (after the last update) on this github? i see that you reply there, so i was wondering 😅
I will look into Discord later. Not so much active on Discord but I will look into it.

as you can see on the home page of anilist https://anilist.co/home the browser doesn't show the option "open in app" but it does on manga/anime pages. i didn't test the bug with other browsers
