filling the screen with one element #80

When I use a large brush size to fill the entire screen with an element it
reaches a stage when over 3/4 of the screen has been filled where no more of
any element can be added. There appears to be a finite amount of particles
allowed to be created past which it will accept no more. If some of the
particles are erased they can be replaced up to this magic number. Earlier in
the development this was not a problem so something has changed.

There is a maximum number of particles hard-coded into the app to reduce CPU
usage on the zoomed-out screen (though if you have a large screen you might
reach it on the zoomed-in version). What size screen are you using? Did you
change devices right before this problem occurred?

Yes, it must be the larger screen on the kindle fire which is causing this
