When a State is added the checkbox of said state doesn't seem to work until prism is relaunched.

I have not noticed that. How do you recreate the error?

Probably wait until after FusionStateManager UI change (RenderGroups).

this one is going to be anoying, but yeah I agree, all this should be done after we have a more final design of the workflow
