Hi whats the best settings for encoding US TV shows?
original files are 720p 1.6Gb / some 1080p 2.5Gb
I currently have the video tab set to;
Preset : Ultrafast, Tune: Off
Single Pass, Ratefactor-based : value 20.0
pass throu audio and picture res same as original.
For just doing a 1080p, 55min show now and it says it will take 36mins @36fps
this is running on my Server, Dual Xeons 48Gb Ram 21Tb Raid.
anyone know of the standard settings? i want the identical quality of the x264 original but in x265 wrapper , saving space.
