“Ultimate Vocal Remover” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. #1083

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

I came across this error msg in both M1(arm64) and x86. Then I tried to use this code offered by supplier to solve the problem. "sudo spctl --master-disable"

However, it doesn't work. The terminal just pops up a lock image. Then the whole process stuck.

Any idea how to run this app in mac.

System settings > Privacy and security > App Store and identified developers

(underneath that, you should see something like 'open anyway', next to the app you're trying to open)
