Hi,
Old Win 10 mobile APIs have some security bugs. Thus, we have removed support for mobile users.
However you can still sideload the app by downloading an app package in release tab. Please choose version 1.3.3 as it is the final update for Win 10 mobile.
Hello and thank you for this fast reply. Yes, the workaround via sideloading is a possibility and it works (just tested), was that "appxbundle" file under releases already there? I didn't noticed it ;-) IMHO, everybody using Win10 mobile today (without official support from MS) is doing this just for fun or because he/she doesn't want Apple/Android mainstream, you know? So, some little security bugs shouldn't be a problem on this platform (if you see the whole other outdated apps and missing support).
Great work I want to say and thanks for, btw :-)
2 years ago it was possible to set up / install the app without problems. The Lumia phone keeps the same, but after a factory reset it isn't possible to install the app again - the Microsoft Store says:
The Lumia smartphone has this Win10-1709, but on mobile Windows this is equivalent to 15254 (instead of required 16299). So the store does not let it be installed on the same device like before! The funny thing is, the MS Store says that I own that app.
So my question is; why was this requirement changed? Is it on your (developer) site or has Microsoft sth done to further annoy the users? Other apps are downloading and installing without a prob.
Is it possible to get an offline installation, say the apx / appx file to install it without the Store?
