Hi and thank you for this wonderful app all my colleges use it on tablets,if its possible to implement 4 features: 1.On the add note window , when you press the "Front" or "Back" box paste automatically from clipboard (i know there is a right click - paste) you could put this option in settings if advanced users want it or if it is not possible could you please put paste button next to the save button, 2.Also very important from pdf we cant extract medical images, so a button next to save for selecting part of the screen and then selecting front or back button with your finger to auto paste it, you can also put this option checkbox in settings to add or remowe the button if the user want it 3..On the add note window to accept handwriting also on images pasted

P.S - 4. College suggested to turn off onscreen keyboard, when you switch between pdf and anki, you could put this on the add note screen (I think it would be best there if you need to type something) or in settings.

With this it would be perfect app, we put on one side the pdf reader and 1/3 of the screen anki, auto paste and selecting part of screen is very much needed.

Thank you very much for your time and this app, have a nice day.:)

Hi, thank you for your suggestions,

  1. This can be done. We will implement it in the next update.
  2. Microsoft does not allow Universal App to take screenshots because of security reasons. However, I think you can use "Snipping Tool" of Windows 10 to choose a part of the screen then paste it directly into the note editor.
  3. We're intending to support ink in note editor eventually. Do you also need it to be converted to text (handwriting recognition) or just need it to be saved as images?
  4. This is also on Microsoft side, we can't force the touch keyboard to remain hidden when user selects a field. If I remember correctly then there is a setting in Windows 10 that will disable the touch keyboard.

Thank you very much for such a fast response, the point of all this is to have a streamlined process. For example, copy text in pdf select field in anki do that again for back and save/done. For images we wanted a more faster process we already using another clipping tool but it takes you out from the flow when you do all these micro-transactions, auto paste would be helpful here, for handwriting no ink to text (if its not difficult maybe someone will find it useful) we needed mainly to add correction or add info to the image, or sometimes OCR is not available(very rarely but it happens 10 per month) so we need to clip text. Shame that it cant be implemented.

P.S - can you make a button next to Save button for opening the snipping tool or some other exe file, and if there is an instance already running, to not open another one.

Thank you so much, you are helping allot of people here, you have no idea how much, so in the end we can have much more time for the patients. :)
