Does this happen every time you try to take a picture? Could you send an AppLog
please.

Yes this happens every time.
I send "camera" to phone, it clicks, but no picture is taken.
Anytime I send "camera" to phone after that I get "Error while getting picture:
Fail to connect to camera service". I can't even access my camera at the phone.
I have to reboot the phone to get camera function back.

Here is a log.

From the log it seems that another app has already a lock for the systems
camera but never releases it. Could you try to uninstall any kind of 3rd party
camera apps? Or was the systems camera app active by the time you tried to make
the photo?

According to the description, and the problem i've got,
it seem that it was the first camera action which lock the camera.

The first attemp make the "auto focus" sound to be played (on my milestone).
ANd the error message come with the second attemp.

Bumping -- I would love for this feature to work! I have attached my own log
file, which was generated by a Droid Incredible running Android v2.3.4.
