Combine forces with Nodebots.io? #19

Hi Anna,

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WORK!!!!! Thank you tremendously for all the incredible work on this! It has become my go to recommendation for everyone starting out with NodeBots. I wanted to ask (and arguably this isn't the best forum, but its a start) if there is a possibility to bring this into the nodebots.io organization? This way we can make it the standard nodebots getting started guide and provide a single entry point for those interested in hardware hacking with JS. Thoughts? If a different communication method is better, my handle is the same for most everything -- voodootikigod. Cheers

I've been thinking about this lately as I've been wanting to expand the material to cover components we commonly use at NodeBots days (e.g. ultrasonic sensors, Wifi module, CR servos) but which are not part of the ARDX kits. I have other diagrams, sample code, slides etc that I've been developing for NodeBots workshops and events here in Brisbane e.g. some of them are here: https://github.com/annagerber/bits-n-bots

But originally I put node-ardx together so it would cover exactly (and only) the same exercises as the Sparkfun (and similar) kits that many of us start with. A lot of the content comes directly from the CC-licensed booklet that comes with that kit.

So I'm ok with transfering the content across to nodebots.io (and I'd certainly be up for developing and expanding on the existing materials) but I'd still like to keep the existing set of kit-focused exercises as a recognisable subset of the larger site (and probably point the existing URL to that section of the site).
