Hi there!

This work consists of several coloured circles moving upwards on the screen, leaving behind a trail that corresponds to the colour of the circle. The circles all have different sizes and speeds at which they travel. The background is originally black, which can be modified by pressing the mouse button, which will also modify the colours of the rest of the piece. A big part of the experience is also the music which plays in the background, this creates an experience that is overall super calming and almost hypnotic in a sense. It kind of reminds me of when I had a lava lamp as a kid (it was funky with different colours).

To me the emphasis of the programs seems to be creating a piece which will either relax or positively affect the mood of the user, and I think this has been achieved super well. I really like how dynamic the program is, and the interactive element adds a bit of extra depth, which is welcome. I really liked the reflections in the readme you attached. It's interesting how rain can affect the mood in different ways, depending on who you are. I liked the note of how much impact the direction of the circles has, them moving upwards really does create kind of a liberating 'airy' feel. I really think it's a beautiful program, and something to be proud of for sure.

A fun thing I noticed while writing this, is that if you switch to another tab with the program running, and then switch back after a while, a ton of circles will appear at the bottom of the screen, really boosting my lava lamp memories! Even this unintended interactivity is pretty nice haha.

I absolutely think this program achieves everything it sets out to do, and I appreciate that the readme file touched on emotional topics, which isn't always easy to express, so that's super cool. Overall this is all super well-executed and I am happy that this exists in the world.

Great job, thanks for making it!
