Hej Anne!

You and you group have made a program that starts out as a black screen, but as soon as you click the mouse, displays an uplifting quote, as well as slow happy music and a voice reading the quotes out load. Additionally, floating circles appear in the background, moving from the right side of the screen to the left. These circles also have a calming faded color, adding to the whole atmosphere.

When I first tried out your program, I was confused to only see a black screen, but instinctively I think the first thing that you try when you encounter this issue, is to press the mouse, and this made the program "start". The way I interpreted the work at first was as being a program that was supposed to uplift you and make you in a better mood. The program seems good at this, because the whole atmosphere is so calming and relaxing and soothing to look at. I didn't realize that if you would click the mouse fast continuously, an error message would occur, because I didn't think to do this. But I really think that this is the aspect of the program that is really important, and it adds so much. As you also write, an "angry" user, who is seeking to become happy, might have this reaction to the program, and that really changes this overall appearance and interpretation of the program, because the voice won't be able to fully read every quote, and everything will seem more messy, confusing and frustrating.

I like the program because I really think that a lot of thought and effort has been put into it. It is not just what it at first appears to be, there are these much deeper thought behind it as well. And I really like your readme, it is very clear that you have reflected a lot upon this program, and that every part of it is intentional in some way. You also write: "A program which has been created to only do one thing feels like it fails at the single thing it has been designed to do." This I find super interesting, because it is something I would have never thought about myself, but it is very true in your case. One thing that I don't believe that you mention is why the voiceover has these different accents. It is clear that "she" does not entirely read the quotes in English, and I am sure that there is a reason for this, but I just fail to fully understand it. To me it kind of adds this personality to the voice, and makes "her" a bit more flawed, but I am not sure that this is the main intention.

I don't have any suggestions for improvement, I think that you made a really cool program with some interesting thoughts behind it, and even though there are no instructions as to how to use it, I find that it works perfectly well. Good job!
