There are now a lot of books that when read would increase your XP in a certain skill or mastery XP. The perk books increase XP only on subsequent readings.
To see how much XP one currently have in that skill (and if it's worth to spend a book) it would be cool to show the XP bar (similar to how it shows depending on which tool one is currently holding).

Since the XP bar code has to be touched for mastery anyway this might be done in one go :)
