Expected behavior:
Upon clicking Edit, the user should be able to edit all information pertaining to a bot including categories, traits, first message, and if so desired, modify the memory and do a brief interaction to better train the bot.
Actual behavior:
Upon clicking Edit, the user is able to edit all information pertaining to a bot excluding any information the bot had from before the format change, such us the original prompt and memory.
Additional Information:
Bots created prior to October 23rd, 2023, still have all of their old information intact even after editing and updating them to the new format. What this means is what if an old bot is updated with a new memory content, it seemingly mixes with the old memory content. More importantly, if a new greeting is implemented, it doesn't override the old prompt. Instead, it plays underneath the old prompt.
Ideally, if an old bot already has a greetings and/or prompt, it should be imported into the new bot's "greeting" data, making it readily modifiable. As it is now, however, it cannot be edited in any way, shape, or form – at least not using the iOS app. (I haven't tested this on the Android version.)
Provide Screenshots if possible
The "Greeting" edit form within a bot's data. Note the lack of an "edit prompt" function.
Conversing with a bot which had previous "prompt" or "scenario" data. The highlighted part, which existed before the bot creation overhaul, cannot be edited or removed.
