Please describe your suggestion or feature request
What is your idea or suggestion?
Reduce the length of the "Greeting" text box when searching for and previewing bots in Bot Search. Maybe reduce it to the last line of a Greeting.
How would this feature benefit users?
Shorter text would occasionally make it faster for users to find a bot to interact with as shorter text means less scrolling and, more importantly, less reading.
Can you provide any examples or use cases for the proposed feature?
Some bots use quite a lot of text in their Greeting posts (see below). This, honestly, is a bit of an eyesore when compared to bots that use simplified greeting posts (again, see below). As stated, truncating the Greeting text box within search results would keep things simple and clean for all users.
Additional Comments
This, honestly, didn't used to be a problem. Up until a recent update, bots used a different system of generating text where there would be some non-interactive text (a "prompt") followed by a simple 200-character (or so) Greeting. These days, the Prompt and Greeting fields have been merged into one for new bots, leading to the Bot Search occasionally being overwhelmed with text. I'm not suggesting reducing the character limit for Greetings or any other internal bot settings. All I'm suggesting is that the Greetings text box on the Bot Search page be shrunken down to about two lines, or even just display the last paragraph of a Greeting instead of the whole thing.
