Greetings!

From what I can tell, the bot creation process has undergone a couple of changes recently. For example, instead of being three steps with multiple input fields, the process now consists of several smaller steps which contain the previously mentioned input fields. A more recent change (as of early December 2023) has also made it impossible for users to skip steps. Luckily, there are only three mandatory fields:

Bots created after the September 2023 update should be able to be edited freely and each of the input fields should be accessible at any time. However, bots created before the September 2023 update need to be updated with the modern settings. Bots in need of updating cannot have their creation steps skipped.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or the like, please don't hesitate to ask!

What if you're unable to move on the next step in order to create the bot?

You've tried tapping both the "Continue" button and the progress meter up at the top, right? Once you've put something in the input fields of those three categories, the "Continue" button should change from gray to red. If it's not, then that's definitely a problem…

A couple things you could try is to either uninstall and reinstall the official Chai app from the App Store Google Play Store, or maybe log out and log back in? I'm not sure if this will help, but it couldn't hurt, right?

If you have a lot of bots – and I mean a lot of them – it may also be possible that you've hit the limit. But, I've read that the limit was raised to a pretty ridiculous number (200? 500?), so…

Again, I hope this helps. If not, it might be up to Chai Research Corp. to fix, unfortunately…
