Details of Issue

• Frequency of occurrence: Always
• Expected behavior: Modifying a bot's Name, Personality, or Chat Type shouldn't affect their First Message or AI Backstory.
• Actual behavior: Modifying any part of a bot's Name, Personality, or Chat Type causes their First Message and AI Backstory to be regenerated without warning or prompt.

Additional Information

As mentioned, editing the bot's Name, Personality, or Chat Type… no matter how slightly… will completely knock out, erase, and regenerate their First Message and AI Backstory. I can kind of understand why modifying the Personality might do that as their Personality determines their First Message. But, if there's already a First Message and/or AI Backstory, then why does it need to be erased? Especially without any input from the user?

If this is an intentional design choice, I feel that it's a very bad one.

I've hated this since I started using Chai. We need to be given full control over bot creation/editing. Ask us if we want to regenerate something. Combined with the added issue of chat direction not saving, it's even more annoying right now. One of my bots is stuck with a crappy pregenerated chat direction because I tried to fix a typo in his backstory. It's already been a month and that hasn't been fixed.
