Bot ID / Share Link: Not applicable; affects all bots.
UserID: Not applicable; affects all users. (I assume?)
Details of Issue
Frequency of occurrence: Always
Expected behavior:
The ability to invite users to your chats should work on all counts and users should be able to interact with the bot you've invited them to interact with.
Actual behavior:
The website page is non-existent (despite the drop-down link working under Safari), the link soft-locks the app, and the joined conversations are blank and can't be interacted with in any meaningful way.
Additional Information
Alright, this one is going to take some explaining.
The link works "correctly" under Safari on iOS, but opening it returns a completely gray screen that soft-locks the Chai app. Closing and re-opening the app fixes this.
On the Chats screen, the newly-joined conversation will always show up as "New Conversation". It will have the appropriate bot icon, but that's it.
Opening a newly-joined conversation will show that it is completely blank.
Checking the participants will show the correct users and bot.
Starting a new conversation works as expected whether the bot is private or public.
In short, it's still very much a broken feature, much like it was back in June of 2023.
Screenshots and Videos
The "Chat Invitation" webpage under Safari Note the lack of, well, anything except an "Open" drop-down link.
The notification on the "Chats" screen showing three news messages (as always)
The actual conversation when loaded The number of participants is correct, but there should be some actual posts here.
