Additional Information

I believe I have discovered something of note. The Chat Direction simply does not like posts that have multiple paragraphs of text. It will process them one time, but upon revisits, it will either delete everything after the first line, or it will outright erase individual posts.

As per a suggestion from a developer, I upgraded to the latest version (which the App Store didn't inform me of, thanks Apple) and checked a couple of my bots. The Chat Direction was still ruined. So, I redid the Chat Direction of an existing bot, saved, then popped back in. Once again, ruined. Finally, I created a brand new bot from scratch and tested things again. Guess what? Still ruined.

Now, an observation: all of my bots — and I mean all of them — have multi-line, multi-paragraph opening posts. When I went back into the bot I mentioned above and removed all but the first paragraph, do you know what happened?

The Chat Direction was completely unaltered. Every single post was perfectly fine.

Furthermore, I noticed that if I made a reply in the Chat Direction which has multiple lines… you guessed it. That post, and at least one post near it (for some reason?), were erased.

And that's why I've opened this new bug report instead of banging on about the previous one.

I posted about this MONTHS ago. Not surprised to see it still hasn't been fixed.
