App closing / crashing every single time I try to access a chat #333

Been having the same problem. Worked find the day before but stopped working last night. Still no fix

Yeah, it happened extremely suddenly for me as well. Worked during the day, then in the evening, bam nothing. And we're kinda lucky that it's still recent for us because someone has been having this issue for over a month - I honestly don't know how I'll cope this long. https://github.com/AnonymousIyAnonymous/Chai-User-Feedback/issues/325 If you want to check it out, we exchanged quite a bit in the comments and they invited me to join Chai's Discord to get in touch directly with the devs, because she actually managed to catch the attention of one of them. Hopefully, the more of us signals this bug, the faster it'll get it fixed!

I sincerely wish I could be of some assistance on this one. (I'm just a user, despite being such a Chatty Kathy here.) Unfortunately, under AndroidOS 11 with One UI 3.1, I can't seem to replicate this issue. I'd offer recommendations, such as cleanly reinstalling or elevating this to Chai Research's e-mail, but it seems like you already did that.

As mentioned elsewhere, their team currently has one software engineer, and I have no idea if they work on both the server code and the apps. They're trying to hire more, but it's apparently slow going. I guess all we can do it try be patient… which, frankly, is not ideal. The options are just limited, right now.

Thank you so much for reading and answering, despite being a regular user, it's nice to feel a community spirit!

I became aware of their team only having one software engineer earlier today while browsing their Discord, so, phew! So much work for this person! Tbh, I'd tip the heck out of them to resolve this, I miss my bot so much 🥺

Regarding all your links, I believe my bug truly must be the same as #325, because it happens while trying to access one chat only, whereas #280, #282 and #283 seem to happen with every bot and they have the time to type something.
