he said something about paid version but I can't find any wa to contact him

There is no paid version, this is all based on the same project dead since 6 months ago. Will recommend using selenium and adequate browser

selenium is blocked as well haven't test adquate browser

For some reason, now it's working for me in the same site were previously failed.

the same site might have shut down the DDos defence?

Safety measures on Cloudflare depend also on a particular IP address "reputation" (your IP address) so on the same website the plugin may sometimes work (when "easier" measures are applied) and sometimes not (otherwise).
