8 years ago Problem solved. There are no items with admin permission allowed in the main menu (they will be removed before delivering the menu to the client). So this element was added to the admin menu that is rendered as a side-bar once logged in with admin role
Apparently there seems to exist a problem with user roles. Since the data upload feature was not rendered at all when restricted to the admin role it is currently restricted to user. This is currently not a problem since user registration is disabled at the server- and the client-side. But once adding community features and therefore opening up registration again this is going to become a problem. So better fix it soon!
