Awesome library! From prior posts it seems like the error "init() got an unexpected keyword argument 'balanced_tree' " is related to scipy. In the meantime before scipy is updated, is there any workaround/hack?

Hi Sam, I have the same problem. Even your iris example code does not work due to the same error. I upgraded Scipy to 1.7.3 in google colab but get the same error. :( Is there any other solution? Thy in advance.

Hi Sam, I was also having this issue. I upgraded my Scipy to 1.9 and it wasnt working. I then reinstalled it as 1.7.3 and it still wasn't working. Are there any other ways around it? Thank you in advance.

Looks like you have quite a few pre-built libraries in there. Can you show me the exact error you are getting? Also, just to be sure, can you run the following code in the same environment you are getting the error in to make sure the version is coming form this environment:

I think I found the problem. When I run the above code it is saying I have version 1.5.3 installed. Do I need to restart my run time or how can I resolve this?

Yes the interpreter needs to be reset in between updating packages.
