Unable to login with XP roaming profile to Win7 client (first login) #15

Turned out, the first failed logon with a roaming profile polluted the registry. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and look for profiles with references to problematic users. Delete the referring keys. Try logging in again.
