Ansuel commented 5 years ago

flywire commented 5 years ago

You're probably not seeing my edits.

Ansuel commented 5 years ago

ok good so it looks like it's working good...

do this logread -f and press the status button.. something should appear in the console if not try press the wps button

it should say the button pressed

(we need to fix the button not working and the statusled trigger that i don't know why it doesn't work)

flywire commented 5 years ago

There are only two buttons in that panel: Status - left hand side, Wifi(?) - right hand side.

Yeah, I pressed status then the one on the right. I'm not convinced yet it is wps, fairly sure it togggles wifi on/off iirc but I never use this modem.

Interesting. All active leds flashed green for about 1/2 sec then turned off except for status led which stayed green.

Setting: Eco Led - Off

Ansuel commented 5 years ago

what leds power on ?

anyway timeout value ?

flywire commented 5 years ago

what leds power on ?

Briefly: https://github.com/Ansuel/tch-nginx-gui/issues/264#issuecomment-429296871

Then just status led.

Timeout 5000

Ansuel commented 5 years ago

switch status led on and save status led off save any change to led?

try to set timeout to 0 and save

flywire commented 5 years ago

results same for both status led switch settings. timeout 0 (active led off) - active leds stay green except status led stays red.

timeout 0 (active led off) - as above.

btw - gui led setting timeout always displays as 5000.

Changing two settings and press save seems to crash gui.

kevdagoat commented 5 years ago

For some reason, technicolor set the info button as a reset.

No mods, just GUI Version 8.8.71 install, changes lost on reboot. Runs vnstat using usb.

Ansuel commented 5 years ago

Are you sure you didn't install dev recently?

flywire commented 5 years ago

Yes this modem auto-upgrade latest dev at 5am.

I've rebooted a couple of times. If I install old firmware I'm certain the led will go back to green.

flywire commented 5 years ago

Included pictures of leds on different models. Names and functions change with model with older black models having 1 or 2 more switches. Suspect config needed for each model.

Ansuel commented 5 years ago

@flywire then you need to restore the ledfw file cp /rom/etc/ledfw/ /etc/ledfw/ cp /rom/usr/lib/lua/ledframework/ /usr/lib/lua/ledframework cp /rom/sbin/status-led-eventing.lua /sbin/status-led-eventing.lua and reboot

flywire commented 5 years ago

Fixed - red led on power changed to green (5 of six leds back to green, pair not lit as expected).

So Eco Settings have no effect on TG800? Was expect to activate it with a quick push (< 1sec) on power button. I understand >1sec will power off modem.

Note: cp: '/rom/sbin/status-led-eventing.lua' and '/sbin/status-led-eventing.lua' are the same file

btw - TG799 is working well, status led green status switch displays leds as expected.

Ansuel commented 5 years ago

It looks like ISP disable this function for the firmware so I needs to adds compatibility to statemachines.lua so plz post /etc/ledfw/state...
