Graphs timestamps are off #943

Open aetonsi opened 4 years ago

aetonsi commented 4 years ago

Device Model

DGA ( DGA4132 ) AGTHP_2.2.0 Version Cobalt (18.3.k)

Gui Version

9.5.51 (i think, i didn't check it and then the GUI auto updated, and i cannot check this again because of #942 )

Description of problem

The timestamps of the every graph are 6 hours into the future (or 18 hours in the past?). Take a look at the screenshots below for clarification. I don't even know if it's a bug, or i just can't read the graph. Simply put, i'd expect the current time to be the rightmost timestamp in the graph, but it isn't. I don't even know if the rightmost label is the current time with a wrong timestamp, or if it's the stats for 18 hours before... As i said, i cannot check if this is still happening because now i can't even see the timestamps because of #942 .

How to reproduce (if possible)

Look at a chart timestamps and compare with current time

Media/Photos (if possible)

I am on the stable version 9.5.38-ba81e28c on both a tg789v2 (firmware UNO) and a DGA-4130 (firmware AGTEF_2.1.0) and I have the same problem. I noticed this error after some time after the modem reboot. More precisely, the graphs are correct up to 12-24 hours after reboot but after that period the display does not update anymore.

Not sure what the cause of this is ; honestly not sure where to start looking; however if you manually update the interface graph files under /tmp/trafficmon/ the graphs update.

With that thought it appears that bug is triggered by some bit of code failing to update the interface graph log files correctly.
