Adding an Excel file and suggestions to improve projects

I dont think this PR belongs here. You probably meant to make this PR to your own fork of this project as 1) this is a poorly formatted PR 2) It's not atomic 3) You are removing features in order to enable the uploads of excel files (???)

Whilst the ability to upload an Excel file and have that make links could be considered a nice addition 1) its possible to achieve a similar result via the api 2) this is not the PR to propose that change
