xorg-mkfontdir is provided by xorg-mkfontscale according to https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/xorg-mkfontscale/

Does this modification go to "production" (so that all installers see the change) if the corresponding PKGBUILD is not changed? I just ask since I don't know the exact process.

@manuel-192 no, it goes only to 0.16.x In fact, cnchi looks for packages.xml in the master branch, that's why @lots0logs had to port this change to master.
