Cnchi was up to date although on the screen where it checked for that it said it wasnt

There were graphical errors throughout the process. The top bar went black, buttons disappeared, text was missing, etc. It started right after the keyboard layout selection, I think.

Then when I got to the part where it actually installs, it failed right after making the list of packages.

Attached are the logs, I think. And, I tested this in GNOME-Boxes cnchi-20160211-041650.txt

Sorry I couldnt be more helpful, I am new to this.

I think the graphical errors were due to the system configuration. I installed firefox in the live environment and it also had graphical errors.

Cnchi was up to date although on the screen where it checked for that it said it wasnt That's my fault. We still haven't released Cnchi 0.14 properly.

I think those graphic glitches aren't Cnchi related. Let's wait for a driver update.

Then when I got to the part where it actually installs, it failed right after making the list of packages.

Yep, that's a problem. I'll check it asap, thanks for the logs.

Sorry I couldnt be more helpful, I am new to this.

Do not worry, that really was very helpful, thanks!

Your log is full of returning error 32 from alpm_db_get_pkg : could not find or read package errors. That's new for me, maybe pacman 5.0 related (could be that pyalpm needs an update).

Then when I got to the part where it actually installs, it failed right after making the list of packages.

That's odd, as log shows a successful installation ¿?

@karasu The error 32 messages started showing up with pacman 5.0. Though the transactions still work fine so I am not sure what the messages are about
