Special characters (æøå) are shows as ?-marks #41

When using danish letters such as æøå, they show up as ? instead when opening my todo.txt in the machine. it is the same in both iTerm2 and OSX's own Terminal app.

Icelandic letters (æöíóáéýþð and such) seem to display and save correctly on my end with v2.2.2. (Ubuntu 17.04 and gnome-terminal)
