it would be cool if you could put a limit on how many of a certain building is allowed, and have it set that/those building as the highest priority for the distribution of power shards if the requirements go over what the limit Is capable of.
eg.
I only have one pure iron node and I want to get the maximum possible amount of iron plates out of that one node using a mk1 drill, but as I increase the number of iron plates; rather than investing power shards into the drill so it can keep up, it invests power shards into constructors and adds more drills instead. it would be nice if I could put a limit on how many drills are allowed, (in this case one) and then force it to increase the clock speed of the drill.
a few other ideas I had:
use lower teir conveyors than the one selected where possible.
rather than choosing one node, give a list of all available nodes and limit it from using more than that.
add power as an item to produce, and use the alternate recipes drop down to select the generation method so you can calculate how much coal/water/whatever else you need will be required to generate power using whatever method you selected.
this last one is a bit bigger and probably wont happen, but it would be cool if you could also make a floor planner tool that supports multiple layers so we can figure out the most efficient way of placing all of the machines that were used in the calculation.
if any of these ideas are stupid or are to hard to implement that fine I merely wanted to suggest something,
