Sam linked to the GDI as an example of a COC that we can use as an example.

What can we pull from the GDI COC that's missing?

GDI's gets pretty granular into all the different types of harassment which might be unnecessary given that we are all co-workers and not strangers. (But also makes me think its odd we're setting up guidelines around harassment in an outside slack but don't have this for our current slack or office guidelines 🤔)

I like this section from GDI - maybe something like this is important to include because we are co-workers and not strangers. ie. This won't affect my job or working relationship with my team if I report this. REPORTING WITHOUT FEAR OF RETALIATION: NO PERSONS WILL BE RETALIATED AGAINST FOR REPORTING HARASSMENT. This no-retaliation policy applies whether a good faith complaint of harassment is well-founded or ultimately determined to be unfounded. No GDI employee, board director or chapter leader is authorized, or permitted, to retaliate or to take any adverse action whatsoever against anyone for reporting unlawful harassment, or for opposing any other discriminatory practice.
