Describe the feature

A module allowing users to connect to an IRC of their choice, the config would allow users to choose the IP, port, channel, username, and backup username, as well as a prefix to use the irc while the module is enabled, and a toggle to choose whether or not using the prefix with the module enabled sends the message to the irc, or to minecraft chat (if the prefix sends to message to MC chat, non-prefixed messages are sent to the IRC)

This addon is for features that have been removed or rejected from the main client

This suggestion isn’t even for an official IRC chat, it’s for a module allowing people to connect to an IRC server and channel of their choice. Plus you aren’t even a dev of the main client or this addon.
