Assigned Logitech G920 commands not registering in NR2003 #310

Hi Everyone.

I realise this is an ancient game that isn't on a client like Steam, but to be able to play the game I need this to work.

Essentially, in NR2003 there are some in game menus that you enable and cycle through using keys F1-9, along with the arrow keys and the spacebar for navigation of options and confirmation of options.

I was recommended this piece of software as a way to map these keys to buttons on my steering wheel, because I need access to these menus and my keyboard is inaccessible during driving. I've set up the keys to the buttons I need, and in other (Steam) games they work. However, while this game is running every button except the assigned ones have input being registered. I can press the unassigned buttons all I want and that's fine, but the assigned buttons never register input. I've run AntiMicro as both admin and not.

To be blunt, am I being dumb or is this an issue with the piece(s) of software? Is there a workaround?

Any and all help is appreciated.

AntiMicro is no longer maintained. There were no bigger fixes since 2017.
There is a new recommended version of this app called AntiMicroX.

As a part of cleanup, this issue will be closed and repository will be archived.
If you find this issue relevant also for that new version of application you can create a new issue (or discussion) there (but firstly check it, because many issues of the old app are fixed and there are some new functionalities implemented)
If you will decide to create a new issue for AntiMicroX remember to mention this issue for reference.
