entirely disable faulty axis #402

I currently have the ThrustMaster T.Flight HOTAS 4 and I encountered some weirdness.

apparently the driver responsible for the device is sending a constant max position for axes 4 and 5, both of which go to add-on foot petals that I do not own. this is not a major issue, as I just leave those axes unbound, and they never change from its max position of 32767, but that got me thinking.

AntiMicro still reads them, and there could be a case where an axis is giving off random values and interfering with things such as the controller mapping and quick set functions. is there a way to disable an axis? and if not, is that a viable option?

AntiMicro is no longer maintained. There were no bigger fixes since 2017.
There is a new recommended version of this app called AntiMicroX.

As a part of cleanup, this issue will be closed.
If you find this issue relevant also for that new version of application you can create a new issue there (but firstly check it, because many issues of the old app are fixed and there are some new functionalities implemented)
