Current Behavior
I have been using antimicrox with an xbox one controller to play games on VICE C64 emulator. For the most part it works well but every now and again it seems it doesnt register my button presses for a few seconds during the game, like it freezes for half a minute or something. The game and everything else is running fine and control comes back eventually but it's like it loses connection and vice doesnt see the control inputs.
Also when I close down the application it seems to stay open in the background, so if I quit the application then later want to reopen it I have to enter task manager and force end the task before i can reopen the application with the desktop link. It also seems to somehow quit the application when minimized sometimes, making it apparent by having to do the same force ending in task manager and restarting.
Expected Behavior
Controller should always stay connection without dropping out and if application is closed then it should quit fully rather than running in background. Application should reliably minimize to taskbar when asked intead of closing.
Steps To Reproduce
Open application and confirm antimicrox sees input from controller
Open VICE C64SC and confirm the emulator sees the input from controller and antimicrox as joystck mappings
Autostart a game through emulator
Either make game full screen or can leave it windowed doesnt seem to make a difference
After a while control will cut out or it will stick in the last direction you pressed on the analog stick or d-pad
VICE doesnt register any inputs from controller and I can open antimicrox and that also isn't seeing any input from the controller
By the time the control input has been checked then connection will resume and the game can be played again.
If application is minimized the program will sometimes just close, and needs to be force stopped in task manager before reopening
If program is closed then it still runs in background, needing to be force stopped in task manager before reopening
Environment
Program Version 3.3.4
Compiled from packaging: GitHub Windows Release
Built Against SDL 2.26.5
Running With SDL 2.26.5
Using Qt 5.15.2
Using Event Handler: SendInput
Host OS: windows Version: 10 Architecture: x86_64
