PSP 1000 - 6.60 PRO-C VSH menu doesn't work #484

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Update the OFW to version 6.60
2. Install the CFW 6.60 PRO-C
3. Press SELECT button to open VSH menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The VSH menu should appear, but it doesn't work. And even if I use the CIPL
Flasher program, after I reboot the PSP goes back to the OFW.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PSP 1000, OFW 6.60 installed and CFW PRO-C fix 3

Please provide any additional information below.
I tested also with B-9 and B-10, the same problem. All them tested with the OFW
6.60. I don't have any plugins.

Before, I used the GEN 5.50 and the VSH menu appeared, though when I tried to
exit, my PSP froze.
But now the VSH menu don't even appear, and the permanent patch also don't
work. I don't know if these two issues are related...

Help me :(

Try going to Game folder on memory card and then press select. Also go to
system information and check if its on pro firmware.

Already did this, and nothing. The VSH menu don't show up.

When using the CFW 6.60-LME and pressing select, the xmb freezes, then when put
to sleep and come back the SVH menu is there, but I can't move anything, then I
put to sleep and come back again, and I can move but the VSH menu is gone.

The strange thing is that I aways had problems with the VSH menu in any CFW...
The 'home' button of my PSP don't work, the permanent patch of the PRO CFW
don't work, and installing the permanent version of ME CFW also don't work! @.@

youre select button either doesnt work or is jammed, this happend to me twice.
you can check to see if im right by opening your browser in ofw, then go to
search,
if the osk keeps changing its jammed or broke, if its not changing press select
and try to change the keyboard, if it doesnt change its broke.
the only solution i found is to use the macrofire plugin to make select not
have any
input and then to have a combination of buttons equal select, for example
L + R + START = select
you'll have to read the readme for that plugin, i cant remember the exact syntax

When I go to search in the browser, the osk don't keep changing, and when I
press select, it changes. Just as it is supposed to work. And my select button
work well on the games too...

But thanks for the help.
