No Games Found error #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install mame wii as instructed, sdlmamewii in apps folder and mame folder in 
root. On SD Card
2.Place mame rom.zip in roms folder root/mame/roms, have also tried root/roms. 
On SD Card.
3.Run SDL Mame Wii from Homebrew Channel.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see mame roms to play but instead i get an error message "no games 
found" and to consult the config.txt in the docs folder.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v0.6 on 4.1U softmodded wii

Please provide any additional information below.
This is my first time trying SDL Mame Wii. I've read that some roms are not 
compatible with this. I've tried rtype and rtype II mame roms. But I expected 
them to display but just not load if they were unsupported instead of telling 
me "no games found" as if they were in the wrong place or something.

i am having the same issue rtype is not found
