package:equatable already supports macros #2

Hi 👋

I'm the maintainer of package:equatable and just wanted to let you know that package:equatable already has macros support.

Unless your vision for equality comparisons diverges, it'd be great to work together on a single package rather than duplicating the effort and having multiple equatable packages with no significant difference in functionality, goal, api, etc.

We were indeed exploring ways to enhance equality comparisons and were impressed by your work on the data_class package. It's great to know that the equatable package now supports macros, which aligns well with our goals as well as improved with covariant .

We're open to collaborating and contributing to the equatable package to ensure a unified and efficient solution for equality comparisons in Dart. We believe that a single, well-maintained package will benefit the entire Dart community.

While we were initially working on our own equatable_macro package, which resembles to your package equatable (Macros side). At that Time we realized that it might not be the most SEO-friendly approach for data_class as Most developers are familiar with and use the term "equatable" . Please allow us to continue developing the equatable_macro package separately until the macro feature in dart stabilizes.
