Audio book playing broken during re-work for text-based DAISY books.

During my changes (checked in as r44) I've managed to break the handling of
audio books.

New books (without bookmarks) start OK, once books have a bookmark e.g.
because they were played before, the audio doesn't seem to be played. Also,
when an audio segment is played, the player repeats it rather than playing
the next segment. Finally, the navigation gestures don't navigate to new
sections, instead the player plays the current segment again.
