What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.When you apply the Tile template under HomePage
2.the theme doesn't resize the thumbnails so you have a really messy looking
site (you could scale the image to fit a square, starting from the the top of
the picture as this is the most relevant part of the picture)
3.Plus, the Post title should never be on top of the thumbnail because that's
the most relevant part of the image (you should put it down instead of the date
and comments count)
4.Plus, why are all things resize-able with only the exception of the Tile box?
5. Why do my sidebars dissapear from the HomePage when I use this template, I
would like my website to have a certain repeatable pattern so I'd prefer my
sidebars to remain?
What version of the ... are you using?
1. Wordpress: 3.0.4
2. Constructor:1.4.3
3. PHP: don't know
4. Browser: firefox 3.6.15
5. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
What URL of your blog(s)?

You should have a look at the Arras theme, it does a great job at solving the
problems above using it's Nodebased Home template. I'm hesitating between your
theme and Arras but yours is very customizable and I like that very much and
I've seen you are very active in developing it so I'm giving it another chance
Another suggestion is giving the site owner the possibility to use your theme
on a larger website, not a blog necessarily! By this I mean you should enhance
the Tile or the List template. Because your default Homepage template is only
for blogging purposes, it displays the hole article on the first page and this
is not what a website would do. And also you should have only particular
categories displayed in the Homepage, I mean to have excerpts or thumbnails of
the latest 5 articles from Entertainment category or the latest 3 articles from
Science and Technology category or the latest 10 articles form the Featured
category; So, this way I have total control on all the articles that get
displayed in the Homepage, this can be excellently used especially if you want
certain articles to stand out (so you make a category of Featured articles, as
I've said). Arras does this as well but your theme is definitively more good
looking and so on..
