links in footer : miss a stripslashes() #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add a link (href) in the footer
2. there are backslashes in the URL
3.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

cvs version

I think a stripslashes() (or something like that) is missing.
